Albuquerque Alibi says
about El Patio Restaurant!

Arizona Republic Newspaper, November 2013
“El Patio is one of the city’s most popular dining spots. For nearly four decades, families, tourists, professors, students, even celebrities – have lined up for robust but simple fare…”

Albuquerque Magazine, September 2012
“This University of New Mexico-area restaurant’s salsa packs a solid medium heat that won’t sear your taste buds off. It has a roasted, salty, tomato flavor that pairs perfectly with some of the thinnest, crunchiest chips in town.”

Venue Magazine, July 2010
“You’ve almost certainly eaten there, possibly years ago while you were in college or entertaining visiting guests. The blue fence at El Patio is a welcoming signal to one and all to dine al fresco in the shade (year-round with the assistance of portable heaters), or inside above softly creaking wooden floors.”

SW Airlines Spirit Magazine, April 2006
“At El Patio, near the University of New Mexico, you’ll enjoy a lively outdoor space to sample great New Mexican cuisine, including green-chile-laced food that almost literally ignites the tastebuds.”

Sunset Magazine, December 2003
“Cozy El Patio has served this university neighborhood addictively spicy green chili-chicken enchiladas and baskets of steaming hot, fluffy sopaipillas for almost three decades. The sopaipillas are made the old fashioned way, with a yeast dough, and they come to the table slightly crispy and reliably scrumptious.”
